Keep Auckland Moving

The days of council rates and government taxation being the default funding instrument to deliver a mass transit system befitting an international city are fast coming to an end. Auckland’s challenge is to interrogate new methods for funding the multi-billion dollar transport projects in the Auckland Plan.

With the launch of Keep Auckland Moving today we get to restart the conversation. It won’t be an easy car ride finding a new way forward but critical we work together in finding new revenue tools.

Walk to Work Day March 13

Just a reminder that  Wednesday 13th March, is Walk2Work Day.

 

                North                    ‘Walk to Work – free Breakfast’ between 7am and 9am at the following locations:

  • Café Massimo, The Strand Takapuna
  • Devonport Deli Café, 16 Victoria Road Devonport

Tweed Ride

10am- 1pm Sat 17th Nov.
Starting and finishing from: 132 Symonds St., Newton, Auckland
In conjunction with T.White’s Bikes 4th annual birthday block party!

Wear your best vintage outfit and your favourite bicycle to T. White’s Everyday Bikes (the left hand store AKA The 2nd Hand Bike Shop).
We’ll have buns, cakes, jam and tea from 10am and then a relaxing easy group ride around some nearby scenery and maybe a coffee stop.
We’ll then cruise back to T White’s Bikes to enjoy the block party, BBQ and stalls.
